EASTER MORNING

The stone has been rolled away . . . about 100 people gathered to celebrate our Mass of the Resurrection- which was full of joy, beauty and new life, especially with the baptism of the two young catechumens and of the 2 week old brother of one of them. Added to this there was the reception into the faith community of an older person who had been following the ‘Journey in Faith’ Process for some while. He made his profession of faith, was confirmed and received the eucharist for the first time with the community.

Disguising a sand pit and making it waterproof we had been able to create the nearest we could to baptism by immersion. This added powerfully to the experience of baptism. Photos will follow soon to show the simple beauty of the ‘pool’.
